Rafting on Hólmsá River is an action packed rafting trip where you’ll encounter and conquer  huge waves, giant holes and mini waterfalls. 
 
We bypass a beautiful waterfall on our way and see the spring water of Hólmsá River fuse with the brown glacial water of Leirá River. The natural surroundings are fascinating; everything from barren lava to green pastures and woods.

2008 the Rafting World Championship was held on Hólmsá so this is the real deal.
