Hotel Borgarnes

Hotel Borgarnes is a three-star hotel in a town of 2000 inhabitants, 70 kilometres west of Reykjavík. Every effort is made to provide guests with good, personal service. The hotel is located 120 kilometres from the international airport.

Glymur Resort is a family run boutique hotel situated high on a hillside on the northern shore of the beautiful "Whale fjord" just 50 kilometers/30 miles from Reykjavík or 90 kilometers/55 miles from the airport. The hotel is open all year around except for the 24th to the 27th of December.

Hotel Olafsvik

Located in the heart of the charming fishing town of Olafsvik, in close proximity to the harbour, tourist information centre and other services, the recently renovated Hringhotel Olafsvik offers guests a welcoming place to relax after enjoying the surroundings of the mysterious Snaefellsjokull Glacier.

Guests of Hringhotel Olafsvik can choose from a range of accommodation options. The hotel has 18 double rooms with private facilities and 11 rooms without private facilities. Each room is equipped with two single beds, a TV and a desk. Wi-Fi will soon be available in the hotel. The hotel’s 19 studio apartments are all equipped with two single beds, a sleeping sofa, private bathroom, a refrigerator, microwave, cable TV and cooking facilities. Visitors are also welcome to enjoy a meal in our lovely restaurant, which can seat up to 100 guests.

Hotel Olafsvik has access to conference room that can seat up to 300 people and is fully equipped for small and large conferences or other required services.

Hotel Edda Laugar i Saelingsdal

The hotel is situated in a grassy valley surrounded by low mountains, in the Dalir district north of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. An ideal place to relax in peaceful rural surroundings, Hotel Edda Plus has 22 rooms with telephone, TV and private bath.

Cottages

Bjarteyjarsandur Farm

Bjarteyjarsandur in Hvalfjörður is located by road No. 47, about 70 km from Reykjavík. Bjarteyjarsandur is a farm which also offers facilities for tourists.

The farm is located by the sea and there is a beautiful beach, with possibility of mussel picking and bird watching. Interesting walking trails are in the area, for example to the magnificent waterfall Glymur.

There are many great and beautiful sights throughout the district. Hvalfjörður is a scenic, mountainous fjord said to be one of the most beautiful in all Iceland.

They rent out two fully equiped cottages with two/three bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a hot pot. Barbecue on the patio.  The cottages are placed in the mountain above the farm, with a beautiful view.
