River rafting on the Markarfljót River, through its towering and magical canyon, surrounded by glaciers on three sides, is our most scenic trip.

The trip starts deep in the interior of Iceland and we use a specially equipped vehicle to get there. The canyon is 50 meters deep where we start and it gradually lowers until we cruise past the lush Thorsmork valley. The river has a great supply of medium sized waves and rapids.
